![]() The laptop has the same issue and latency spikes. I've tried multiple Ethernet cables and also tried connecting my gaming laptop directly to the router. I don't ever use Wi-Fi to play due to its unpredictable latency. The test was run from my desktop PC that's connected directly to the Sky Hub via an Ethernet cable. The lag isn't terrible (not like Wi-Fi lag), it's very subtle and noticable enough to put me at a significant disadvantage during matches online. They don't allow you to ping their servers for some reason.ĭoes that look normal? It does seem a little odd to me, but I'm not sure if those spikes are enough to cause the lag I experience in eFootball. I pinged a server from an old game I used to play (Runescape) because I can't ping the eFootball servers. Here's a Pingplotter result from a recent 10min test. The only thing I've noticed is I get regular small ping spikes when I ping several things (such as 8.8.8.8,, Twitch and a server from an old game I used to play). I've been running some tests on my end to see if the issue is my end or the game. My opponents don't seem to be affected, so whatever it is, seems to just be impacting me. The overall feel of the game is a lot heavier than normal and it just feels like the game is not in sync. The game is playing with some sort of delay. I don't disconnect from games and connection to the game servers remains stable. Around several months ago, I began having issues playing the game. I've been an avid player of this game for several years and haven't had any issues playing online. So I've been having issues playing an online football game called "eFootball 2023".
